As Director of the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research (IPPSR) at Michigan State University, I lead an institute dedicated to applying rigorous research to pressing public policy issues.

Our primary mission is to build problem-solving relationships between the academic and policymaker communities. We accomplish this by promoting and conducting applied research, providing extensive survey research services, and running key educational and training programs.
